July 2018

Plan A, a non-profit fundraising and education organisation for environmental issues, together with the Surfrider Foundation, organized its big clean-up at Volkspark Friedrichshain on July 8.  Around 70 volunteers were helping to clean the park. Part of the trash was used to be exhibited in an installation that I built of two windows, functioning as a lightbox. This collective trash will be shown in the Volkspark in September. The installation is inspired by my ongoing  "Windows of Consumption" art project.   See the article here

Happy to have participated at the Universal Sea and Plan A Festival Opening, where we discussed the question "Can art be a catalyst of change" with Corinna Rosteck and Daria Wartalska.

Clothing Swap

I organize clothing swap events because I believe that swapping clothes instead of buying new can help the environment and bring people together. I deebly believe that in the future, people will find more and more ways to avoid the classical consumption behaviour they have gotten so used to. To swap clothes with others is an amazing way to stop the circle of buying.
