>Windows of Consumption< is an ongoing project dealing with consumption behaviour of individuals and society as a whole.  For the project I asked people to collect their trash over a couple of days or weeks which I later placed in their double glass windows. This transformed the windows into lightboxes revealling to the pedestrians what we usually tuck away. The results are a shining collages of colours and shapes made of plastic and papers which tells the individual stories of their owners. The picture remind the viewer of stain glass windows in churches- a spiuritual image made by our mundane lifes.

We all have a personal addiction to different items which represent our preferences and world views within a confined system.

The last photo shows around 150 plastic cups and snack packages collected of a two hours flight from Frankfurt to Berlin.
